Adobe Premiere Rush
Adobe Premiere Rush is a newer video editor. It was previously known as Project Rush and was launched as Adobe Premiere Rush in 2018. Adobe’s new cross-platform video editing program is aimed at YouTubers who want to improve their skills without the extra frills that professional video editing software offers.
Premiere Rush starts with a tutorial walkthrough for the uninformed. But Rush is easy to learn even without it. After a quick media import, users are presented with a monitoring panel for editing and a timeline panel for viewing. Import and basic cutting/splicing tools are on the left, and editing tools are on the right. Smartphones and tablets running iOS or Android can utilize the app.
Premiere Rush’s workspace is organized from left to right, from import to editing. The Project panel opens when you click the folder bin symbol on the left of the window. There is enough of negative space to the left of the panel to preserve the clean workspace that Adobe is definitely going for.
