Overall, the campaign’s flow reminds `a lot of the old Romance of the Three Kingdoms games. In the game, you can invest to increase a city’s income, appoint a chancellor and finance minister. It is also possible to search cities, repair walls, train troops, recruit and entice enemy generals.

Also available is the ability to send your generals on an expedition to a “dungeon”. The dungeons are filled with random equipment and resources.

The entire gameplay loop is well-polished. There is a feature that allows you to complete all of the “domestic” tasks on a single screen. This makes it seamless to complete them quickly late in the game. In other words, it has overall good quality that makes the game less of a chore than some other games in this genre.

In the game, there are also random events that might be advantageous or destructive. Nevertheless, the consequences are quite tiny. For instance, losing 1000 defense in a city can be beneficial.

When it comes to combat, the auto-ai is quite good, so you can simply sit back and enjoy the game on auto if you want to. It even supports 2x speed, or you can just let the game resolve itself.

This game is extremely replayable. In the game, you can choose from a variety of different sides to play with.

In particular, this game would benefit greatly from additional events. The diplomacy system, on the other hand, is something that needs much more development. It would be wonderful to have a character editor.

Overall, this game has a lot of potentials. It has a really excellent and well-designed core mechanic upon which to build. I hope that more people will purchase it so that the developers can continue to work on the game. The Heroic Legend of Eagarlnia is definitely a diamond on the rough, a truly promising strategy game.
