Description

Amazon Drive, originally Amazon Cloud Drive, is an Amazon-managed cloud storage service. The service provides photo printing and safe cloud storage. Using an Amazon account, files and folders can be moved between web browsers, desktop programs, mobile phones, and tablets. Amazon Drive users in the US can get picture prints and photo books through Amazon Prints.

In addition to limitless photo storage, Amazon Drive now offers paid restricted storage with an Amazon Prime subscription.

It is now available in key markets such as the US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, UK, Japan, and Australia.

How to utilize Amazon Drive, your free cloud storage software

Every Amazon account comes with a free Amazon Drive account. For your documents, ZIP files, images, and movies you get 5GB free storage.

You can use Amazon Drive on a Mac or PC, or on a mobile device. There’s also an iPhone and Android app.

Uploading files to Amazon Drive is simple. Log in to the website or app and tap the blue Upload icon. You need to choose (or create) a folder for the file to upload to. Amazon Drive accepts almost any file type. JPEG, PDF, and ISO files are examples of typical file extensions.

To open a file you’ve uploaded, find it in the folders. And you can then download it or share it with others. From the Share menu, you may email or text a link to the file, or publish it directly to social media.

Amazon leads the way in cloud media storage.

Amazon Cloud Drive stores music, photos, videos, and documents, while Amazon Cloud Player plays them on any PC, Mac, or Android smartphone.

Moreover, Cloud Player lets users play, pause, skip, shuffle, and repeat tracks, as well as create new playlists and sort music by song, album, or genre.

According to USA Today, the iPad cannot access Cloud files, and the iPhone or iPod Touch does not have the Cloud Player companion app.

In addition to allowing consumers to access material from anywhere, Amazon thinks the move will increase online music sales.

Amazon Cloud Drive is one of the most secure and reliable cloud storage services available today. A device logged into your Amazon Prime account can automatically sync data. Thanks to cloud storage, data may be viewed from any device anywhere, provided you have internet access and your account details. Unlimited photo storage is one of Amazon’s premium features for Prime members.
