What is Duolingo?
With over 500 million users, Duolingo is the most popular language-learning platform and the most downloaded education app in the world. The company’s goal is to make education free, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone. It is a game-like language learning program that has been scientifically demonstrates to be successful. In addition to its primary platform, Duolingo developed the Duolingo English Test, an affordable and convenient language certification option accepted by thousands of institutions.
Furthermore, Duolingo is a skill tree of lessons that drills you on new words, phrases, and sentences using listening exercises, flashcards, and multiple-choice questions. The majority of questions feature a comment thread where users can debate the question in further depth. There are also community elements on the service that allow you to connect with others who are learning the same language as you.
Duolingo English Test
For today’s foreign students and institutions, the Duolingo English Test is a current English competence evaluation. The test is accessible on-demand and you can get it online. You don’t need to schedule an appointment or travel to a testing center. You may take the test using a computer and camera from the comfort of your own home.
