Wolfram Alpha

The WolframAlpha app has a search field in the top right of the screen, which is highlighted in orange. It is picky about the type of information it accepts; it is not useful for generic searches on a topic, but it is effective for detailed and factual inquiries and answers. As a result of my input, the software read it as “strongest major storms,” for which no data could be found. Strangely, the app recommended that relevant WolframAlpha inquiries included the terms “third richest in fiber food,” “5 most populated countries,” “fastest bird,” and “food richest in calcium,” among other things. The app, on the other hand, had no issue informing me the GDP of Kenya or who had won the World Series in 1987.

To the left of the Search window is a box with four tabs: Examples; History; Favorites; and About. Examples is the first tab, followed by History; Favorites; and About. Examples is a fantastic place to start because it will offer you a better understanding of the kind of queries that are accepted. A wide range of topics is covered in the list of subjects. These include topics as diverse as mathematics; physics; weather; geography; people and history; culture and media; sports and games; music; and colors.
