On March 16, they announced a complete rebranding of the mobile app to better represent its purpose. The program, aptly titled Quik, makes it simple to get the most out of your favorite photographs and videos, regardless of the phone or camera you’re using.
Quik, at its core, fixes your phone’s camera roll’s “black hole” problem, ensuring you never lose track of your favorite photographs and movies again.
When you take that unique “keeper” photo or video, simply share it with the Quik app, and it will be put to your own private “Mural” feed within the app.
If you send many photographs or videos to Quik at the same time, they’ll be grouped together as an event, and the app will create a beat-synced highlight film, which you can customize to your preference.
If you want to edit your photographs and movies yourself, Quik includes a set of sophisticated yet basic editing tools.
