Sololearn: Learn to Code
Beginning with a warning informing me that the “Learn HTML” app, which was made by SoloLearn and available on the Google Play store, had been discontinued and encouraging me to use the standalone SoloLearn app, which I dutifully did as instructed. Take note that you should not install the SoloLearn app at the same time that you install the Learn HTML app from the same developer. This is due to the fact that they have condensed all of their classes into a single app for the convenience of their pupils.
Upon first opening and using the app, my initial impressions were “okay,” and it didn’t appear to be particularly promising at first glance. As a result of my previous professional association with Mimo, I got familiar with the company’s basic design aesthetic (which you can read about in my full review here).
In as little as half an hour, I was able to become familiar with the site’s style and layout, and I must confess that I am rather impressed with it overall as a result. This test is particularly interesting to me because of the way concepts are introduced, progressively reinforced throughout the test, and then researched in depth across all of the activities.

Undoubtedly, the addition of a Reddit-style comment section. Under each lesson page is one of SoloLearn’s most innovative course features.
